Q: Are you a union shop?
A: Yes, we are Union Local 12 (Northern California Floor Covering)

Q: What are your hours and do you work on weekends?
A: Our showroom is open Monday through Thursday from 8AM-4:30PM (our warehouse closes at 3:30PM), and we are open on Fridays by appointment. Though our showroom is closed on weekends, our installers do work on weekends on weekend rates.

Q: What types of Flooring Installation do you offer?
A: Sub Floor Testing and Analysis, Carpet, Carpet Tile, Engineered Hardwood, Sheet Vinyl, Linoleum, VCT, Rubber and Cork Flooring, Polished Concrete

Q: What are labor costs for Union Installation?
A: $97 and up, based on level of expertise

Q: What is Floor Prep?
A: Basic sweeping and scrapping

Q: What is standard and Non Standard Floor Prep?
A: Standard Floor Preparation is stated above: “Basic sweeping and scrapping”

Q: What is your minimum charge?
A: We charge a two hour minimum

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Check, Visa and Mastercard and Cash

Q: Do you sell and install Solid Wood Floors?
A: Yes, however, we subcontract “finish in place” products

Q: What lead times should we expect?
A: Our lead times vary on which Mill the shipment is coming and whether or not the product is in stock or needs to be produced. Generally for items in stock in California the lead times range from 3-7 Business Days. For stock out of Georgia lead times range from 5-10 Business Days. If an item needs to be produced, the lead time can range from 2-4 weeks.

Q: Do you warranty your services and for how long?
A: Yes, we warranty of services for 1 year

Q: Do you make repairs, and how long is your response time?
A: We do make patches and repairs and generally pending on our schedule can make the service call within 24 hours.
